Human Resources Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team in the commercial real estate sector. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruiting, onboarding, and payroll administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to effectively manage recruitment processes and payroll functions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the organization.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and other channels.
  • Coordinate interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.

Onboarding

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions, processing paperwork, and coordinating training programs.
  • Ensure new hires have the necessary resources and support to succeed in their roles.

Payroll

  • Manage payroll processes, including timekeeping, payroll processing, and distribution of paychecks.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees in a timely and professional manner.

Compliance

  • Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to support legal compliance and best practices.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on recruiting and payroll administration.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
